Organic Certifications

*Organic Foods should only qualify as ORGANIC if they fit guidlines established by the USDA including the following: All ingredients are 95% -100% organic but must be 100% organic to qualify for the 100% organic label.

NO: Artificial colors/ flavors - Artificial Preservatives - Artificial Fertilizers - Synthetic Pesticides - Irradiation - Bioengineering (Genetically Modified - GMO)

*Made with Organically Producesd Ingredient we list as the second Organic catagory and these items fall into the 70% - 94% organic and according to the USDA can have up to 3 ingredients listed on the label with the phrase "made with organic"

*Anything under 70% organic can list specific ingredients that are organic on the label but can not market the product as organic as a whole.

Natural foods

*This catagory is the next best thing but you may have to contend with some thing that would not qualify as organic. Under Natural foods you would find

No: Artificial colors/ flavors - Artificial preservatives - subject to have been grown with Artificial fertilizers, synthetic pesticides, and could have been irradiated or Bioengineered (Genetically Modified - GMO)

Conventional foods

Conventional foods were seperated from all other catagories and this the food items that your going to find on the shelves in the "General Population" of grocery store items. These foods really have no limitations on what they can have as ingredients

Instead of saying No:

They  are subject to have one or more of the following:

Artiificial colors/ flavors - Artificial Preservatives - Artificial Fertilizers, Synthetic Pesticides, use Irradiations, and many times contain or are Bioengineered (Genetically Modified - GMOs')
